Can anyone recognize coins in these pics? (craigslist post I am interested in)

The one thing I would highly recommend would be a Krause world coin catalog. This will le you look up the coins easily and also give your kids a way to flip through and see all of the coins from around the world. Get an older edition on Ebay cheap, for like $10 including shipping. Get the 20th century first, then the 19th century if you get some older coins.

Sounds like a great plan OP regardless of what group of coins you buy.

Seriously, those look like all recent world issues, and virtually no chance of silver or a rare coin. And a good chance of getting robbed in some foreclosed 'meeting' house.

 

I rec the a half pound of foriegn coins from Silvertown for $8.00 they sell them in pounds for like $16.00 looks about the same .
