Can anyone make out what this says under the MEDELLIN on this gold coin?

    1872 Colombia Gold Peso Medellin Mint
    counter struck over something else.

    Looks struck twice on the front also.
    Cool piece but the seller on the bay has it up for a $$ cool price tag.

    Maybe KM156 over KM157.2? Could that be "BOGOTA" showing under "MEDELLIN"? Anyway nice little coin.

    Not counter struck.. Over struck
    A counter strike when done will leave a incused image into the coin.

    Looks like a die clash of "UNIDOS DE"

    A counter strike is when you play too much computer games...

    That said, it looks somewhat unlikely to be an overstrike. I'm not familiar with this coinage and could be wrong. Numismat might be right!
