Can anyone help me classify this?

    Surgeprotector Machine Doubling....gets me every time!

    There is a strange line, protrusion, under the letter "E" in "America" but I just don't know how to classify this. At first i thought it was a planchet error involving a gas bubble but it doesn't seem rounded enough at the edges. Any thoughts? 1999-penny-under-E.jpg

    It's my understanding that crappy Zincolns with die chips are used as fertilizer.

    Agreed - in 50 years, most will look like this, no matter how you try to protect them - the OP's example is already showing signs - collecting zincolns will be a long term / future futility :hungover:
