I've bought this piece, I love the undertype and it made me buy it. However there's s piece next too the left of the coin which shouldn't be there.. I believe it to also be part of the pillar. In this case Guatemala would be the nearest Carolus dollar I can find. I'm on this path given the details I've identified this far. Here are some magnified images of the under types I can make out, unfortunately I see no dead certain clues but I'm hoping someone with experience of the Spanish 8 Reale might be able to narrow it down to some I believe these to be (HISP)AN then part of the pillar.. IND- (I) Between A & R on GRATIA REX
This is the 8r I think it might be this one based on my previous statement regarding the pillar. http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17227.html
Thanks, I will take a pic of the edge tomorrow mate, there's not a lot left detail wise it would appear they tried to get rid of that too. Here's a few more I've just taken around where I would believe the mint mark to be it's a shame but the strike is strong there although some detail is showing I think it would take an esteemed collector to make anything of it. This one makes me think MO I firmly believe the mint mark is slightly above the A I believe this is the "8" r Since I was looking I tried to trace more of the obverse back.. This is the hair, you can also see the bottom of Carlos's bust in the field on the obverse as it never struck quite flat you can feel the distortion. It's also certainly an 1800's issue from where I can see

Sorry for the delay mate I've been off this week so I've been busy ! I've lost my white gloves so the throw had to be a substitute [emoji23]
Looks like a portrait 8 Reales with a nearly obliterated "circles and rectangles" edge. The position of the mint mark looks about right. The host would be either a Carolus III (1772-1789) or a Carolus IV (1790-1808). Something like this:
