Can anyone explain how to best grade Washington Quarters?

And since Proofs are struck with much higher pressure, and more than once - that's about as good as the strike is ever going to get.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now look at the lack of detail in both those images - there simply isn't any fine detail in the design. And it's not because the strike was weak, there just isn't any !
