The coin is not perfectly struck, so some of the letters are cut off, but most of it can be read. On the first line is most of the name: Aurangzeb Alamgir. Just under these letters is a long horizontal line which makes up part of the word Shah. The date of the coin would be right here over the “g” of Aurangzeb, but the numbers on the photo are a little blurry. The mint is Shahjahanabad (Delhi) most of which can be read on the upper left of the coin. Unfortunately I cannot read the regnal date here. So the reverse would read &quot;year xxx of prosperous reign minted In Delhi&quot;.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>So if you put your coin next to some of the photos which I have linked to above, I think you may be able to see how the inscriptions match up even though some letters on the edges are cut off on coins.
