When I saw it I immediately thought either France or Austria, but was unable in a quick search to locate anything that matched. You might want to check into those some more though. Maybe Spain too.

I got it at a flea market

 

I'm thinking counterfeit british halfpence from the longneck family group.

 

why do you think it is counterfeit?
and where are you getting the information on what coin it is? because I searched British half pence long neck and the pictures of coins that came up looked nothing like this

 

it kind of coins was it around when you first seen it

 

foreign coins, that is another reason I think it is foreign

 

the color change actually cleared it up a bit, especially the back, thank you

 

the back kinda looks like an eagle? and that 39 is DEFINITELY there, very interesting

 

i see 33 i wish i knew which way the coin should face not only does it look like a ponytail but if you flip it it looks like another head

aloy of british half pence have a pony tail

 

but not as much of a ponytail as mine, mine has almost as big of a thing as the liberty cap cent does..

 

I have looked at just about every picture of a British half pence on the entire internet and I haven't found anything that matches up in any way with mine.. ugh.. this is so tough..

thats because its worn and the pony tail flatened and spread out from wear maybe its not even a head the more i look looks like wings or a animal ect lol
