Something to be said for this. When you pay a TPG you are paying for the information on that label.... The mislabeled three cent coin I have is a humorous oddity to me because I purchased it that way. If I had paid NGC for that label I would have been pretty upset about it.
I contacted NGC, they said they will fix the label and pay for my shipping fees. I will post update when coin is returned.
That’s got me thinking from another post earlier, if the coin comes back with a lower grade should I ask NGC to compensate me for the loss in value of the coin? Or maybe I’ll just keep my Ugly Benny as a conversation piece.
I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time this hour, but I'm used to ebay photos and I think it's a D. Directly below the "E" about 1mm up from the top of the bell.
Not happening...personaly I leave it as is...as others have stated it may product a small premiun...come a day you tire of her.
Depending on grade perhasp.... but NGC is not going to compensate you for a mistake as such.... your first request for such will end up in the circular file.
Friday I’ll stop by my local coin shop and ask if they will take a look it. I’m pretty sure they have better magnifying than I do
It must have been a Friday or a Monday when they graded it!!! Could not way to leave or didn’t want to come to work! Lol
