Got this at the bank when getting a few dollars for the weekend. Got to wonder if I should be collecting these type of notes, since I’ve been lead to believe only like 2% of all paper currency is such * series. Hope I don’t come across too many more $100 bill star series. Can get costly.

From a large print run of 3.2M replacement notes. Most $100 note collectors I know want uncirculated examples because of the high face value. Over 7 billion series 2009A $100s were printed with a 1.05% replacement note average. http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2009ah.html

What gets my attention the most is the frequency that I’m getting these notes.

That's Kool.... Been Soo hard to find for me... Found one star note in the past year n half.... May end up just buying stacks of bills to search for them... Bur, people must be keeping a watchful eye out for everything around me cause seems Soo hard to find even wheat pennies around here... Need to find me a car wash around here that dispenses $1 gold coins... There's a couple in TN... But I moved to Arkansas so... Eh... Search continues

I only started looking for the star notes over the past several months, maybe year now. I found two in one week and a few here and there. The $100 bill was found recently as well. I actually come across star notes more frequently in my change then I come across wheat pennies. I learned of their existence from posts on this site. Wonder how many I had before I started looking for them.
