Can anyone give me an approximate value of this coin? It's a Cherrypicker's Guide variety (FS-402 & FS-010.84). It's an RPD in the denticles, and known as snow 6. I cherrypicked it, as a "best offer", for $4.50 + shipping. http://m.ebay.com/itm/191543700507?txnId=1123475893009
Well...... Its a nice variety, but the coin has issues with corrosion and a possible cleaning. You probably paid a fair price on this, but I would not suspect you can sell it for much more than you paid. Rick gives it a 2 star rating, meaning there should be a premium associated with it, but again, there are some issues with the coin which might keep buyers away. Its a cool variety though and I still need that one for my MPD variety set.
I noticed the pitted surface. I didn't have an IHC variety yet, so I made an offer. Thanks for your input!
I 'watched' that one--but declined to bid due to the heavy corrosion. VF details, not a major MPD, but still interesting. The condition is an issue, but a nice pickup for a few bucks.
I'm glad you saw it Kurt. When I noticed the MPD, I thought about giving you the heads up, but there were only about 8 minutes left. I decided to make the offer & if I won I'd have an IHC variety. Or, if anyone here needed it, they could have it for my cost. I'm just glad to know I'm getting better at noticing varieties on eBay that aren't labeled as such.
