Calling ALL error experts! 1940 DDO?

    actually i'm completely lost regarding the coin. in hand i see the doubling on the 9 as well. very nicely "stacked" each having the fat look to it. i don't know if mine is a different variety all together but it definetly (to me) appears to be a double die. it may, it may not be, it's not worth very much so i'm not going to sweat it any futher.

    This, the 9's look like a match to me, just the OP's is worn. Check for die markers.

    I believe it could be a class 6 distended hub doubling if you notice on liberty seems to be extra thickness and the letters have a wavy effect a good give away for that class of doubling I would say it's a doubled die.Just my opinion
