Call for New Membership in the Security Engravers Group

OK. I would love to join. I have been researching a lot on fractional shields for a presentation at my local coin club. I don't know if this would apply here or not though.

Well, I suppose I should renew my membership even though I missed one of my presentation dates last time :whistle:

 

If you deceide to join the new rules will be posted in a few days and then deceide if you would like to be a member,it's a learning experience and a great group who will help you if you have questions ...hope you sign up.

 

I've got my subject picked and have been doing some background work on it. This is very enjoyable and I hope that everyone will get enthused and give it a shot.

Hello SEG Members.

Tomorrow, Sunday evening, I will have the pleasure to post 3 new items for the SEG.
As I announced last week that the Administrative Members; RickieB, Krispy and Connor1 will coordinate the Group's activities and positions. What will be presented to you will be the SEG Logo, 2010 Award Certificate and a new set of SEG Guidelines approved by the Administrative Members.

We want you to know that while we took it upon ourselves to select these items for 2010 we considered putting it up for vote and we almost did just that. While we value your opinion's and judgement, I felt in order to move along quickly that we need to act and get this accomplished rather quickly as we have additional plans for some of these items.

**The SEG Logo is one of them. More information on this shortly.**

The ANA is forthcoming and I will be discussing with Matt (LostDutchman and MikeNoodle) the potential for our group to participate in the Pod Cast's that they put on. I am also proud to say that lettow has accepted an invitation to join our group and is willing to do a Pod Cast as well. lettow will bring significant experience to the group and I hope each of you send him your personal welcome.

As mentioned, more information to come. This is going to be an exciting group and we are planning some exciting things for our members to participate in and on.
Also we will be publishing for members only a resource guide for Paper Money related material through Dealers, Auction Houses and Authors.
(so stay tuned for this one as you will be asked to submit your references for the internal list)

ALso as mentioned the Member slate will be wiped clean in a few days so if you want to join up..then you better act quickly. When the new "Official List" is released, any new member will have to submit a short essay on why they want to join our group and provide a synopsis on their collecting goals. This essay will be submitted to each member to either vote them in or to turn them away. They will aslo be required to submit a presentation within 90 days of joining.

Good day to you SEG members. Well the day has arrived to Present the new SEG 2010 Award Design, The SEG Logo and the new SEG Presentation Guidelines. This will be done early this evening so look for a Thread outlining these new items today.

Also I copied a few words from a previous post as a reminder to any who are considering joining under the former SEG guidelines before the new ones come out today! Please PM me if you are interested. There are going to be some really cool things happening in this group the second 1/2 of this year.

They will aslo be required to submit a presentation within 90 days of joining.
