    Caligula (37-41) silver drachm, 18-16 mm. 3.37 grams.
    Struck at Caesarea in Cappadocia.
    Very rare.

    IMPERATOR PONT [MAX AVG TR POT]
    Simplulum and lituus,
    Sear 1798. RIC Gaius 63 "R2"

    Quite worn, as shown. A silver coin of Caligula is always expensive, but this one is not too bad. [$195 SOLD + $5 is the US.]
