Heck, I watch no TV other than the nightly news. I order a movie once in a while, but that is it. It's CT, books or bust for me (well, okay, coin auctions)!

 

I have Cable-TV, US Netflix, Canadian Netflix, Apple-TV, and I order the NFL Sunday Package (all games, live in high-def!!) ... go 49ers!!

Yah, when we're not building igloos, clubbing seals, or playin' hockey, we're watching hockey and trying to stay warm snugglin' on the couch and watching "The Big Movies" on the tube!!

And at the South Pole where i live, I have Netflix and Apple TV. But the only thing I have time to watch besides the news is this awesome Canadian drama about clones, called Orphan Black.
I'm completely oblivious to this "NFL". The only "football" I know of, is Aussie rules football

 

Funny .... ummm, is Orphan Black any good? (man, we already have so many regular shows ... I haven't ever watched Orphan Black)

Orphan Black is the BEST most addictive show ever! It's all about discovering you have clones! Season 4 has just started, but you really need to start with season 1.

I might have said something less than family friendly, it's been known to happen.

 

That's okay, JA ... I was so hammered when I wrote last night's comments that I wouldn't have remembered anyway (the wife and I went to a going-away party for a work buddy yesterday and we both put in a full 8 hour shift of drinking and partying ...... today we are merely gonna be laying in bed, eating junk food and watching TV, recovering)

... man, I'm getting too old for that late night partying trick

 

Did i miss something crucial? Unfortunately for me, it's night-time over here, when it's day-time over there, and I often awake to find I've missed out on all the fun.

 

Well, I saw the segment with the coin. Let's just say "Ilya" is not a very good actor.

 

Wouldn't mind punching a few of his teeth out. He screwed me over on a Tetradrachm a long time ago.

 

I watched this episode again the other night. I noticed something I must of missed the first time. Anyway, the f-en tool said "he would take $4,000 all 100 dollar bills." Like he is really something great, and entitled to only 100 dollar bills I guess lol. This really, really rubbed me the wrong way. I would of given him the lowest denominations possible. Wait a minute, I wouldn't of given him dog sh$! because I would of NEVER bought anything from him in the first place. Yes, I know it's only entertainment.

Smeag => I was able to score the first 3 seasons of Orphan Black ... I'm only on the third episode of the first season, but "thanks" for the heads-up (I can already tell that I'll be pulling a marathon and watching them all ASAP ... cool series idea)

I bought the episode on Amazon Prime based on this thread. I wish I had saved myself the $1.99. Nice coin, but terrible acting and the seller is not a very nice person. I wouldn't buy a Caesar denarius from him for even $400.00.
