There's no "secret sauce", so to speak. I don't like every coin I see graded by a TPG, nor do I like every coin with a CAC sticker. I look at the coin first, view the grade, weigh the CAC and make up my mind whether I like the coin and want to add it to my collection. Once I've determined I want the coin, I determine what I'm willing to pay for it. I use a variety of price guides to help with value, but I rely most heavily on HA's auction archives. If I can't find enough examples at HA, than I'll see if they have one in a current auction.
