You are all crazy awesome!! After all of the generous pile on pledges we are now at $510 raised for the ADA! I am proud to be a part of this collectors community.
Ditto, I know of 4 generations in my family. I used to call it FOMs (Fat Old Man's disease), but prior generations were quite fit. I hope to do as well as them: they lived into late 80's and 90's. The exception were 3 that succumbed to the Worldwide Spanish Flu immediately after WWI, leaving my Grandfather an orphan. Thank you for donating to the CDA. I appreciate the efforts everywhere!
Congratulations, Alexandron! I lead a prayer service at my church on Wednesday nights and we will pray for your grandson. He's a Blessed child to have you as his Grandfather.
curtisimo..."Spectacular Triumph" (quote by TIF) Bravo, Curtisimo! Very thoughtful, generous, and educational effort!
what an amazing story! there's an old movie called "a boy and his dog" about a guy and a dog that is telepathic. what smash can do seems even more amazing than telepathy! congrats to allegandron!
Congrats on the win Alegandron! I had no idea they had service dogs that could do that kind of stuff. Pretty amazing. Great job putting this together too Curtisimo. It was really fun watching all the matchups.
Wow, what a Triumph! Smash sounds like an amazing dog and Killion a true champ. My thoughts are with him, you, and your family. Once again, fantastic job, @Curtisimo!
Thank you so much Z! Your kind words are welcomed. Your coins are just incredible. I love all of them, but your Tet is an awesome coin! Thanks, and I am honored by our tournament together! Curtis' unselfish work to make this all successful is fantastic. Again, thank you.
Well done. (Just realized I misspelled Imperator... oh well, Medieval Latin was always a little fast and loose...)
Thank you so much Fitz! The title is nice, but not my focus in life. I did not create the coins for the tournament, rather I am only the steward. However, your generosity will have great impact. That is what matters. Kindest Regards and Thank You! Brian
I'm loving this thread so far! By my count we are up to $645 to diabetes charities! Remember that this is also a celebration of @Alegandron 's awesomeness. Don't be shy about posting a coin you think everyone (or the Imperator) will like!! If you noticed the coin on some of the graphics and in the center of the bracket you might recognize this guy. He is sort of the unofficial mascot of the tournament Gotta love A. Pius!
I just realized no one has put their hat in for the con giveaway. If no one comes forward, then I would be happy to have it for my Ancient History Class (I am hoping to incorporate some coin research in the course next year... they are all high school freshmen)
