It portrays the ‘forest of pillars&#039; of the Great Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, one of the greatest and oldest examples of Islamic art in Europe. Built between the 8th and 10th centuries, the Mosque was later consecrated as a Christian cathedral and underwent successive transformations.
