I don't normally collect Byzantine or ancient coins, but I love how concave this billon trachy is. Here's one in much better condition than mine if you would like to see more of the detail. I believe the obverse is Christ and the reverse is Theodore standing next to his patron, Saint Demetrius. I actually gave it away to a world history teacher who covers the Crusades in his class, thinking he would get a kick out of it. It was only $15. Very nice!
I only own one trachy myself. I think these are pretty interesting coins but they are sure hard to identify! (at least for me).
