Byzantine Mini Haul! - Coin #1

    These following three Byzantine coins I thought that if I could get them cheap enough I'd go for them, and it ended up that way :D. All of the photos are of the seller's.
    Always been interested in the history and coinage of the early Byzantine Empire, and this interest only grew as I made post-Roman Germanic one of my collecting focuses, since the Byzantine Empire was contemporary with the barbarian nations of the west. First up is my first ever half-follis (20 nummi) of Justinian I.

    Justinian I (ruled 527-565 AD)

    Obv: DN IVSTINI-ANVS PP AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right
    Rev: Large K, long cross to left, star above and below, officina letter (B) to right, Constantinople mint
