Is this some kind of personal vendetta of yours? Don't throw stones while in a glass house..! Tell me please, who on this forum collects any coins and have not eventually sold, bartered or traded some, let them please feel free to be the first to cast your critiquing my way. However many opinions there are, there also are reasons why many individuals post on this forum, Unlike what was said, I have started several discussions just for the heck of it, is it something that I do regularly, No... When it comes to providing useful information for others, I am more than happy to do so, and have, however not until after the more knowledgeable regulars have already solved the issue, usually within the first 24 hours, I simply do not log on very often, and frankly I feel no need to reinforce or parrot there excellent answers with a reconfigured version of my own. This quick response facet is what I love best about this forum, however I am not on the forum every night, once a week or two tops, and yes, I admit most of the times that I am on this forum it is to solve a problem I am having with a coin ID... And No I do not sell all the coins that I consult the forum with so please don't something that is not..! If I do try to sell some of my coins, the last thing I would ever wish to do is provide incorrect information on the COA that you so helpfully provided for all to see, thank you for that rule breaking tid-bit of advertising to my Ebay location.! Some may joke about my COA, and that's fine, I have never claimed to be a numismatist nor do I sport a degree in the field, and being realistic, just how many can actually say that they graduated from coin school, few I know, that knowledge is gained over the long haul of time consumingly being in contact coins of your interest, and asking questions on this forum is a primary learning experience, any information that I receive through this forum is passed on to others that I give, trade or yes even sell coins to, so it is not like I am not doing a bit of educating as well... This same opinionated topic was mentioned to me prior to this particular posting, and I explained in much detail what my background & knowledge about coins was, I had assumed, wrongly perhaps, that this matter was put to bed, I even began all of my posts with the "I will be selling this coin". Conversely I received just as many responses to a question as I do without such disclosure, and then there is the forum rules that state I am not to advertise or try to sell on the forum, so I then have to explain myself further to clarify, after several posts this way I felt this disclosure had become somewhat redundant and a non-factor, again I apparently was wrong about this for some..! I realize no matter how forthright an opinion someone has & posts, there will always be those called "haters" out there that only enjoy making a simple opinion into a debating contest, that's not for me...! As you said "I have followed his posts closely without making any more comments on his posts." Please continue to follow your own good advice..! I have chatted with many forum members that have provided help for me over time, and I have found there are some that actually enjoy searching out a difficult ID coin reference, kinda like treasure hunt, puzzle I guess, it's a win-win and I see not a thing amiss there..? Listen, when and if I post for help to ID a coin, and you know that I have sold some coins in the past, (like you haven't) please just put me on ignore, don't provide an answer if your answers are so valuable for you, however to purposefully respond with unhelpful and critical comments to the point of hijacking my COA from another site, and placing it here on this forum, thus infringing the forum advertising concerns, only typifies how bitter some individuals can be. You can have my thumb print on that...!
