Most of the time that's not going to work out in your favor. Know that probably more often than not, the guy bidding against you may know LESS than you do and just wants to win the auction. Never assume something must be worth it only because people are bidding it up. I've seen a lot of fools bidding up pathetically obvious, artificially toned Morgans and others. People are getting badly ripped off on there every day.</p><p><br /></p><p> I've heard many refer to ebay as the "Wild West". You can live a decent, exciting life on there.
