buying "junk silver"

    I can't remember the dollar amout but know it was way up there. It seems the Ikes the last of the real size Siver dollars are starting to become popular again. Most years have low mintages in the time (70's) the mint was puting out billions of each of the other coins

    The 1973 and 1974 brown proofs are getting harder to find

    Do you consider silver clads to be true "silver dollars"[​IMG]

    They may not have 90% only 40% but it is still silver and the size is what a silver dollar should be. SBA's and SAC's are not silver dollars no silver in them. The Ike clad copper nickel are not true silver dollars. But because the copper nickel Ikes were made for circulation this makes the Silver ones the last real ones. Unlike the ASE which none were made for circulation.
    Now we are all confused:eek: :confused:
