The Dealer has no legal obligation to contact the parents and should not further involve themselves , unless there is evidence of theft. Of Course the dealer won't buy a coin from a 13 yr old. If that attempted to happen, in their store, than the dealer may have a legal obligation to notify the authorities. That's about it. Bobbeth is taking the position that the dealer should BUTT in and call the parents, based soley on a call to his store. Thats a good way for a dealer to get hurt, in more ways than one. People who stick their nose where it surely does not belong, will surely get a headache in return. Oh also, whether or not I am a parent or not, is of no consequence in determining what responsibility is, and who owns it. The Dealer Does Not![/QUOTE]
