If you had to choose one or the other to collect, which would you choose, would you choose the Bust dollar or the Eisenhower dollar?

    THIS IS SINGLE ELIMINATION

Gotta agree! Most people who collect them are rich enough to own them, I am not. Especially in decent or higher grades. :thumb:

Ike here. No point in starting something that you cannot complete. I don't think there's any frustration within coin collecting thats greater than having to "give up" on a collection because you either couldn't afford a specific date/mm or that there simply were not any available to even consider.

No doubt, bust dollars are nice to look at and to own but most are simply out of the price range of the typical collector in any appreciable grade and as such usually are relegated to Type Sets.

Would I like to own a Bust Dollar? Sure. But since I'm not a millionaire with money pouring out of my exhaust pipe, I prefer collecting something thats within reasonable reach.

I have never liked Ike's design, so I say Bust.

Didn't like the Ike design until recently. Now that it has grown on me I like it a lot. Gotta go with Ike here!

Is price a factor for you? You can build a nice Ike collection for a relatively small sum of money. The last time I checked, it takes significant resources to build a Bust dollar collection.
