    I agree that when you start it helps to list a lot of low value coins and offer combined shipping. People are always looking to bundle. Shipping cost is one of the worst things about buying coins on eBay, especially with low-value items, but people can justify it if they can combine and get multiple items. Then you will also get return customers who check back and look at your new inventory. I have people who bid on my auctions every time I list something. I've never had anyone ask for a return, but the return policy is a sign to the buyer that you are not a crook. If you say you don't accept them, they wonder if you're running a scam. I agree that freebies don't really help. Sometimes I have people do that, but even though I appreciate it I usually don't even remember which seller sent it to me, so as a marketing strategy it doesn't work. From a buyer's perspective, I'm looking for a low starting price, low shipping and combined shipping. Do those things and you'll have success.
