I have a 1936 Buffalo nickel with a minting error. It makes it appear the buffalo let fly a buffalo chip. Is this worth anything more besides what a similar nickel of this type and year is valued at? Thanks for the feedback.
That's damage from your coin taking a hit from something. It moved the metal on the coin. Pretty funny with the "buffalo chip" name though. Perhaps you can market it like that and sell it for a tone of money on ebay
PMD and NAV. Post mint damage, not an error, and no added value but welcome to CT and keep on looking.
Welcome to CT. Definitely damaged from a hit of some sort. The name Buffalo Chip is great. No extra value in it but certainly worthy of keeping.
