I think 150 years is a bit of a stretch. Most rolls will increase nicely in someones lifetime, but like anything else, it depends on the condition, and the original rarity. Rolls of halves or sacagewea dollars saved from today will go up in value much more quickly than statehood quarters because they were minted in a fraction of the numbers.
