My dad always spoke very highly of him. One day, my dad was going through some papers and he found a few notes that my grandpa had acquired while in the Army. Being a collector, he felt I was the member of the family who would appreciate them the most. So, he gave them to me. They're in rough shape and not worth anything to anyone else...but they are very special to me.
