Brought Down a Centaur

    Thanks for this. I didn't even realize that RIC describes the object as a trophy; I'm sure I got my description as a reversed rudder from the dealer and other sources. It's particularly clear on mine if one zooms in, I think, with the three prongs and the handle, and I don't think there's any doubt at all as to what it is. It looks nothing at all like a trophy!

    Wikipedia claims that cricket was first played in the 16th century but, actually, that was when humans adopted the old sport previously reserve for centaurs. What say you? Is that a ball or a globe? Is that short thing behind the three stumps a bail or a bat? I suppose some will see it as a tiller on the rudder but that leaves the question as to why the thing is upside down.
