I'm looking for information on a bronze plaquette titled "An Appreciation" by the famous Mormon sculpture Avard Fairbanks. The medal was made by Medalic Art Co. of NYC, & is dated 1930, see photo below. The back side of the plaquette is blank & it measures 3 1/2 X 2 3/8 in. What was the occasion for making this & does anyone recognize the two shields in the upper right field? Any help would be Appreciated. Thanks.
