Yup. Those 3 are just a few of my sovereign collection. I also have a collection of British pennies and half crowns along with a bunch of other British coins.
I have a fondness for Victoria on the old India coinage, and you can often find the worn Victorian pennies in junk boxes.
Well if we are going to turn this "penny" thread into a parade of Victorian coins, here are a few more: 1843 Threehalfpence (pronounced three ha'pence) 1844 Half Farthing - commonest date for this denomination. 1847 Gothic Crown - the "holy grail" of Victorian crowns.
You used to be able to find these in your LCS junk box, for a quarter. At one time, I bought dozens for family and friends as a birth year pocket piece.

Lovely Queen Victoria. I see that I have about 741 British coins now, and more on the way. I guess I am an "accumulator" also.
There's also a series on PBS called "Victoria" It's been on for 3 seasons and the 4th season is in the works. She sure is beautiful in the series.
Queen Victoria reigned The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 until 1901. Her eldest Son Edward VII ruled from 1901 until 1910. According to some historical records he was known as a heavy drinker and womanizer. Many coins were of Queen Victoria were minted and are plentiful and relatively inexpensive on eBay.
