Gonna hook him up, take care of the hotel and make reservations at the 'FireSide Inn' for dinner. It's a pretty swanky place. http://www.hillcitysd.com/firesidehome.html Sounds like a very nice fellow who travels quite abit and driving 600 miles is nothing for him. Ben
way to go bone digger, good luck and keep us posted, you've been talking about it for as long as I've been a member.
Great job Ben.... Keep us posted on the results!! WOW I know a famous coin collector!! Congrats!! RickieB
Congratulations Ben and happy 4th and 5th of July to you. Bust halves are such classics. I am so happy for you. Looks like all that hard work is paying off.
Well, the vote is next. Steve and I got together (he actually found the house, after a detour and searching for an hour) about 3:00 PM (MST) and he got right to work; checked every Bust Half-Dollar in my BCBHDC had and showed me some beautiful coins he'd brought as well. He determined I met all of the basic requirements 128 varieties and 140 halves. Everything is in order except for the general membership to have their say now. We talked coins until 1:00 AM, a good 10 hours even over dinner, LOL... A very soft-spoken, friendly, and knowledgeable fellow. I can honestly say I've never met anyone as immersed in Bust Half Dollars as Steve is. Every little question I had or had heard about he could expound upon. A true wealth of information and gentleman representative of the club. Take Care Ben
Good luck Ben! Based on what I have seen and heard, sounds like all of this is just a formality. Can't wait to hear the official word. Joe
Thank you Spencer. We talked alot about Joe and his collection, he was a very LOVED and Respected man in many circles. Take Care Ben
