They are so interesting and attractive that I couldn&#039;t pass them up. Even if you know nothing about them, Southeast Asia immediately comes to mind when looking at the 1 Cent.</p><p><br /></p><p>They are both in great condition, and the Half Cent especially so.</p><p><br /></p><p>The coins are darker in hand than in the seller&#039;s pictures. They are medium brown but they still have that subtle attractive mottled pink, lavender and blue toning.</p><p><br /></p><p>The H stands for the Heaton mint in Birmingham.</p><p><br /></p><p>I think the designs make them appear more like medals than coins. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Br.
