be aware of putting any coin in bowers and merena auction. i put a 1943-s lincoln cent-struck on a dime plancht--AU-50(PCGS) in there auction. open bidding was $1800.00, did not sell. no bids. called debbie, told her i want my coin back, she O.K. two weeks later i got a statement that it sold for $1500.00. the auction was in baltimore on june 11-12, 2009.two weeks later i got the sad news. the next auction is in aug. there must be some trust in people you do bussiness with. they will not answer my calls. don't trust them with your coins.
