Bought This SEGS Slabbed Nickel on eBay. Think it Will Cross at PCGS?

    They label it as though it is full step, when it has a huge gap.
    A top tier company wouldn't even note anything about steps on a coin like this.
    To defend a confusing label with "well, I see steps visible on one side" is just to be in denial.
    My opinion...

    This seller is listing as "Full Steps" as well.
    It all goes back to the wording on the slab.
    Very misleading IMO.

    I would refrain from buying FS Jeffersons online. Unless they leave a 20x magnified photo with everything clear, stick to buying in-house. The margin for error is too great, and the difference in price is too great for the risk.

    Won't cross.

    If you break it out, you might get it in a PCGS slab.


    Ask for a refund instead.

    I also vote for refund ... it looks to me like it has been improperly cleaned (i think i see a lot of hairlines)

    I agree and will add, SEGS is not one of the basement services.

    id suggest you get a refund .. its not worth the extra cash that indent on the reverse altho minor remover your chance of getting a fs..
