Garbage books not worth the paper they're printed on is another. Still, knowledge is valuable, but it hobby-related or in any other field, so someone possessing it and willing to put in the time and effort to compile quality reference material deserves to be compensated for their efforts as long as there's a demand for it.</p><p><br /></p><p>Truth be told, I've never quite understood the people who seem to think hobby-related knowledge <i><u>must</u></i> be given freely, and will openly fault those who disagree all while seeing no problem with charging for the same in other areas. Just think about however many years you've invested into acquiring what you possess and compare it to someone demanding to be paid due to, say, their associates degree.
