Bookends?

    No, it says the note is a bookend. That is, it was certified along with a consecutive note that was interesting in some way, and the two notes were intended to remain together.

    Apparently some buyer along the line decided to keep the interesting note and sell this one, so this note is now wandering around on its own with the no-longer-applicable "bookend" label.

    FWIW, based on the series and serial number block, my guess is that the other note, consecutive to this one, was likely a FW295 error.

    Thanks for the illustration. And, wow, your notes are only a dozen serial numbers away from the note on Ebay! :jawdrop:

    Wow, seems like an odd decision by PCGS Currency to do such a thing considering the notes can be separated. I'm not necessarily for or against it. Just think it's odd.
