If that TPG discovers that the coin is harshly cleaned and states that very thing on the slab than who looses. They were already paid to review and authenticate the coin so their loss of time is moot. They have already been paid to slab the coin so their cost associated with slabbing is covered. The person who sent it in gets the coin back in an authenticated and tampor resistant condition to do with as they see fit. They can always break it out. I agree that PVC and actively corroding coins should be returned with out the slab but adjust the fee for that. Refund the incremental cost that would have been associated with the slabbing. </p><p> </p><p>When I go for an oil change and I pay for a service that includes the changing of all the filters in my car, I damn well expect all of them to be changed. If they choose not to change one I want a good reason why AND then I expect to be compensated for that filter. This is called accountability.
