My prediction is that this coin will be sniped by a non paying bidder. Take that to the bank and cash it.

RLM, I am not sure I understand you stance here, GSC was never a member here or showed any before and after pics. What we have here is a Chris Schuck wannabee....those who dont know Chris can search this forum....

I am guilty of laziness and procrastination, but outright fraud? C'mon

The man is trying to pull a fraud. I have no doubt about it, but it is no worse than GSC or numerous others are doing. Also, eBay can do nothing when we say that coin is not unc. Our evidence is hearsay at best. They will and can do nothing about it.

Are you aware the last auction was pulled?

    My take....

Ok if you disagree with a grade, we all do sometimes. They say 58, you say bullcrap, it's MS....that is an OPINION

To crack out, mislead AND hide the fingerprint he cried about so many times is misleading. Nope, nothing we can do about it but expose it here ( this auction is all over the net and all coin boards ) and expose the seller.

To mislead for $$ is dirty, to brag up your coins in kinda normal. But to crack and lie intentionally is unacceptable. When I stated swim with scum, I mean that if you do that, it is awfully hard to wash off, reputations here last a long time. Both good and bad.

BNB, I know you are reading this under some alt name by now........you will forever wreck your credibility for a few bucks...it is NOT worth it. Whether it be coins, paper or stamps, rare cars, Matchbox collectibles, whatever, you cannot hide. Get credible and stay there. It is your only way to have a future. The future is a long time bro. Think about it.

You are absolutely correct. Now, just what can you prove to eBay? What can eBay do to this auction? If you say they should pull it because we say it is bad, tell me how eBay can keep us from pulling any auction from some seller we decide we do not like.

BNB, if you are reading this, Jack knows what he is talking about. reputations last quite awhile, but you are relatively young and still have a chance to do what is right, especially if you are serious about being in the business of coins and working live shows as well as ebay. The coin community (not just the forums) is a pretty small group compared to other businesses/hobbies, word travels and once you have a bad rep, it's likely to stick.

Ebay already pulled the auction, the auction since was relisted with the proper information. Ebay will remove misleading auctions

that (coin) auction is hot potatoes for ebay and this forum.

I'm just gonna put this out there as I don't think anyone else did. Even if we can manage to get ebay to pull this current auction, it seems BNB will just re list it again, like he already did. Personally, I think there could be better results by informing the current high bidder (and all subsequent high bidders) of the coins history if that is possible (I don't know if it is). That, or just let the winning bidder get the coin, then if he realizes he got ripped off, he will leave the appropriate feedback.

Yes, you are correct. Just what is misleading? BTW, grading cannot be misleading since it is an opinion. Every coin listed is misgraded by many several people. Therefore, every coin should be removed. Correct?

As an aside, just how many listings have you had removed? My guess is that I have had over 100,000. (That is not a typo. There are 5 zeros there on purpose.) Have fun with this. I will not be around much tomorrow. Goodnight!

Second Edit- When I said I wasn't sure if it was possible to notify the Highest bidder, I meant I don't know if you can send an email, or PM to that bidder. I don't know if ebay makes it possible or not.

Edit- Yay, I finally figured out how to put a pic in my avatar after two weeks of fiddling with it.

What is too bad, is that the coin is suffering from it's association with its owner. It is (was) a Slabbed 3L AU58 ( whether it is actually cracked out or not is questionable ), and the finger print was minor in my opinion, ( if he didn't crack it out and try to remove the part NCS couldn't) it is still a very nice coin, and is worth an AU price, IMO.

I wouldn't pay MS prices, but might consider it at AU range.

as might be said..."Buy the coin, not the person holding it" :)

I don't think he's actually capable of it Jack (thinking about it). He's an actor after all.
What's a prerequisite of a scammer? - being a good actor. Sorry BNB your act is apparently NOT that good.

I really meant it when I said he needed help. He IS screwing up his future. Might work for a while but it does come back to bite you on the poo poo.

Toss out the ego and get some therapy dude! SERIOUSLY. I watched your response to some guy that has "stolen" your "ideas".

I see this happening. I can also see it happening a lot more.
