Bloody, gory, gruesome, barbaric coins

Are there many examples of explicit brutality? Blood, guts, gore--actual depictions of death.

I assume you mean on coins and Off the top of my head, I can't think of any except for a few tokens with skulls.

 

Where do you get these ideas from?

There's a lot more of that stuff out there than I was thinking of.

I've seen Notgeld before and not noticed anything like that. I will certainly look closer in the future.

The mention of Daniel Carr reminds me of a female artist who does coins similar to his.
