Blank steel penny

I think it'd be cool to get a magnified pic of the 3rd side\edge. Like a Dyno Lite image of the layers...that'd be cool to see too.

Yup there's alot of these, but this they're planchets...not blanks. Planchets already have the rim upset from the upsetting mill...what we are looking for is blank, which is what the planchet is before it gets its rims.

 

I know you're a young collector, but you really need to buy a scale before spending money on worthless items. Also arm yourself with knowledge so you know what you're buying. Look at the item, go home and research it and go back to buy if real. You can't always trust pricing.
I also realize you have said you're not an investor you're a collector. Collectors don't buy junk just to have it. I promise you, when you get older you don't want to look at your collection and say why did I pay good money for that crap!
