Blank planchet or pmd ?

    Found this in a roll of pennies. Is this a blank planchet or has someone just grinded it down ? Doesn't seem to have small grinding marks . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    It looks like a type 2 blank (planchet) , with a milled edge.
    Never seen one with so many hit marks.

    Thanks for the replies. Kinda shocked to hear that it actually is a blank planchet. Probably bounced around in someone's change jar for years before being rolled and sent to bank .
