Paddy, do you see an upset rim on either side? I don't.

How can we be sure it is a nickel planchet? What does it weigh?

I sure do.. It's like a slight slope almost shadowy..
You need to see enough of them to tell the difference

 

Yeah, I just haven't seen enough images of them to be sure. I'm also assuming that the OP needs to adjust the white balance on his camera.
