Hi Andy! Hmmm... quite an interesting assortment of coins you have there! :) At first I was sure that the top leftmost coin was from Thailand. But the more I look at all of the letters, the less convinced I am. There are a few symbols there that, from everything I can tell, are definitely not Thai.... But it should be somewhere in the neighborhood (geographically speaking). The top rightmost coin is also a mystery. It looks kind of like Armenian (you can see the Armenian alphabet on this page), but once again there are some symbols that just don't belong. I've looked through a bunch of various alphabets and writing systems but can't seem to find one that fits. Hmmm... this coin has definitely piqued my interest! I can't wait to find out where it's actually from. So now you're probably thinking to yourself, "Well, if this guy doesn't have any idea -- but only (self-admitted) incorrect hints and guesses -- about the origin of the coins pictured, then why did he even bother to respond?!?" Well, the answer is... that I actually do have some solid information about at least one of your coins! :) The rightmost coin (the square-shaped one) in the bottom row is from Sri Lanka (based on everything I've found). You can check out the various details about the coin here. The picture there, however, isn't as good as this one, and the details are almost exactly the same. Based on the obverse of this 5-cent coin, I would say that the leftmost coin in the bottom row is also from Sri Lanka... although I couldn't find it online. Well, maybe that will help a little. If possible, could you post a scan of the other side of the two coins in the top row? That might help narrow down the country. - Andrew
