Well, i figured i'd go ahead and show you guys the coins I received for my birthday It may not be much to most but i was really happy ! 1945 half ! 193 Buffalo ! 1885 O Morgan dollar, AWESOME COND!! 1928 Standing Liberty 1942 Mercury dime ! Also here are the coins I won from ikandiggit's contest. He also included the 1882 coin, and a 1943 wheatie i was wanting bad for free Thanks!!! Also Collect89 sent me a couple of Mexican error coins for my birthday and want to say a BIG thanks to him !!!

I've always refrained from asking for coins as a bday present. I feel like the giver (if not a collector) wouldn't be very good at getting the grade right, or whatever ("AU, BU, they're just one letter apart, and look how much cheaper the AU is!!!") Or even the coin itself; of one type, they do all look pretty similar. Just a year a a mintmark is different. Bullion would be ok I guess.
