Where's George? ® 2.2 I've done it a few times, it's pretty interesting. As for coins, I think it would be too hard to differentiate between them since they don't have a unique serial number.

this is a HOT topic meant for the PM forum lol most coin addicts wont know about the WG thing. Most of the PM collectors on this forum have very 'differnet' views of the WG. We either hate it with a passion... or love it! very few are in the middle lol

Do you really advocate damaging every coin you handle?

I fail to see the point in a Where's George. If I go on vacation from the East Coast to Honolulu and leave a WG there It seems like a, oh, my WG got to Hawaii.

    exactly, that is the point.

But, if you mark it, you say where you spent it, not where you marked it.
So someone else would have to take it there.

so, you spend it and someone takes it to Hawaii, that would be neat.

Interesting - never done wheres george and would not stamp a dollar. I have only seen a few of them. Next time I find one I will have to jump on there and see where that puppy has been.

You don't HAVE to stamp the note, it does make it more likely that someone else will notice the note and enter it on the site as well though.
