If this is wrong forum I'm sorry but I thought I'd give a quick POSITIVE comment to Cointalk world. We attended a coin show today and a member here, Matt Lost Dutchman took time to educate myself and a friend with some "hands on" lessons.

Will all the negative and whining in the world today I thought I'd shout out about someone's kindness to virtual strangers... Thanks a lot Matt!

The Muncie show. Usually a very nice show but attendance was down this year. Weather problems. I didn't get all the way around and I missed getting a chance to chat with Matt this time around.

Kevinfred, are you a member of the Muncie club?

No I am not, I live in Ft Wayne. I thought about joining the Marion club as I've been to their show(s) and it is a little closer - about 40 min.

Dealers were asking me if I thought attendance was down. I'd been to the Muncie show two years prior and remember it being difficult to move down the first isle!

That said, the roads were pretty bad even though there wasn't much snow.

I ended up buying these ----

    PCGS MS65+ CAC 1944 Walking Liberty $105
    PCGS MS62+ 1897-S Morgan $85
    PCGS MS62 1897 Morgan $50
    PCGS MS62 1926-D Peace $155
    PCGS MS67 1976-S Silver Washington $16
    RAW 1949-D Franklin UNC $42

    I sold a PCGS MS62 1882 CC for $195

OK, then are you a member of the Ft Wayne club? Their show is in March.
