Has anyone ever had one of those days where you bought something and couldn't stop thinking about it. And there you lay, all snug in bed and can't sleep because you can't stop thinking about your new toy? Well that is me right now. 3AM and still can't sleep. Call me crazy, but I am excited. Most auctions I go to I usually don't buy anything or if I do buy something, I usually have buyers remorse a few hours later, but not today.....at least not yet anyway. :hammer:

Today I landed four items that I needed. No pics yet.... sorry gang...its 3am and although I can't sleep, I can't see straight either! :goofer:

Landed an original 1955 Proof set in the box. Everything was still intact as the day it was sent out. Staple was not rusted or anything. Slight toning on the Half, quarter and dime, but in all, everything looks like the day it was sent from the mint. No frosting on the half.

Then I purchased a gorgeous 1909 UNC Lincoln. It would probably be considered a red/brown - but more toward the red side of things with a wonderful green and yellow and orange toning on both sides.

Next was 1936 Texas comm. Can I say anything more? Gorgeous.

Lastly, a 1949D UNC Franklin half - allegedly full bell lines, but I don't think so. But I got it for a steal.

Anyway, thank you for letting me rant/brag for a moment. Nothing super big like a 1909S VDB or anything like that, but still coins that I needed and wanted and all for a decent price. The auction was the most packed that I had seen in a long time. I guess the economy isn't hurting people too much. You know all us West Virginian's hide our money under our mattresses!
