BIE error

    IMG_0986.JPG This one is a 1957 D error with the 9 filled maybe? And also the Liberty has An I in between the b and e

    So what is this coin posibly worth? Does anyone know? I have heard of the BIE error penny before and just happen to come across it a few months ago. It is very shiny and in really good condition.

    Yes the 9 has a Die Chip and there is another Die Chip between the B and the E

    Die chips occurred a lot in the 1950's so it is a common find.

    As mentioned in your other thread. Die chips do not have much of a premium. I have purchased BIE varieties for $1 at coin shops.
