This one is a 1957 D error with the 9 filled maybe? And also the Liberty has An I in between the b and e
So what is this coin posibly worth? Does anyone know? I have heard of the BIE error penny before and just happen to come across it a few months ago. It is very shiny and in really good condition.
It is not actually a letter I. It's a Die Chip also. I want to share this webpage with you - http://lincolncentresource.com/FAQ/BIE.html and http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-bies/
Yes the 9 has a Die Chip and there is another Die Chip between the B and the E Die chips occurred a lot in the 1950's so it is a common find. As mentioned in your other thread. Die chips do not have much of a premium. I have purchased BIE varieties for $1 at coin shops.
